Sendo M550 Mobile



Nowadays communication is essential for every human been on this planet. Our business life, our personal life depends on communication. It is almost unconceivable not to have even the most basic way of communication on your hands. With all the new technologies on the market we are able to witness newer and easier ways of communication. Even if these little gadgets called mobile phones are not that new to most of us, we have prepared a review of one of these small and smart devices that a few years ago seemed almost impossible to create. The phone we are going to review today is the M550 of the British manufacturer, Sendo. Sendo are quite known to mobile phone enthusiasts and especially to Europeans. They are a British company with the headquarters set in Birmingham, UK. Even if there are some of you who have not heard of them, that is why we are here writing this review for you. The M550 is one of Sendos latest releases.

1:1 phone size

The Sendo M550 handset imposes by design, looks, and ease of use. It is one of Sendos mid-range mobile phones. The M550 looks even better when you see it with your own eyes that in the images. Sendo called it "Object of Desire", and they are quite right! The M550 is quite a mobile phone to desire. The small handset is very customizable and multimedia oriented. The M550 mainly targets the youngsters. It has full support for SMS Chat, EMS, and a lot of personalization features, from polyphonic ringtones to pictures and themes. And speaking of pictures, the M550 features a color display with 4,096 colors. The handset is targeted at the fashion conscious consumer who is interested more in how the phone looks and feels. The CSTN display with 12-bit color has a 128 pixels x 128 pixel resolution. The M550 also features an external, inverse monochrome display with a resolution of 96 x 64 pixels. Polyphonic ringtones are also supported, and the M550 comes with 15 such embedded. The phone can store up to 500 phone book entries, and lets the users to have more direct control over their content as it is shared by polyphonic ringtones, address book, animations, and images. The M550 is GPRS Class 8 with a colour 1.2.1 WAP browser. It also offers T9 predictive text input, concatenated SMS, full EMS support, and SMS Chat features. Last, but not least, are the three Sendo games that are also embedded, including the over-the-air two player game KombatClub. But lets see which are the features and then get down to its design.
