Following a few Centrino 2 releases, MSI has decided to go green and deliver a couple of more notebooks based on AMD's latest mobile platform. Powered by dual-core Turion X2 Ultra processors, the GT735 and GX630, come with Windows Vista Home Premium pre-installed and feature 17-inch and 15.4-inch LCD screen respectively. The GT735 makes use of the AMD RX781 and SB700 chipset combo, can have up to 4GB of DDR2 memory, either 160, 250, 320 or 500GB SATA hard drives and gets its graphics power from a Mobility Radeon HD3850 card with 512MB of dedicated memory.

MSI has also equipped the GT735 with four speakers and one subwoofer, Gigabit Ethernet, WiFi, a 4-in-1 card reader and even an eSATA port. The laptop can also boast a Blu-Ray DVD drive and a 6 or 9 cell battery.

The GX630 also tops 4GB of RAM, has 160, 250, 320 and 500GB SATA drive options, but it is based around an Nvidia chipset and a GeForce 9600M GT card with 512MB of memory. The rest of the specs are pretty much identical to those of the GT735.
