With almost all the censorship problems taken care of you'd think that search engine giant and certified big spender Google would have a smoother stay in China. Unfortunately (for Google) this isn't the case as one Chinese company is thinking of suing them for the Google name. Google's Chinese subsidiary name can be translated as Guge and it is that name that Beijing's Guge Science and Technology Ltd is having problems with.

Because of Google's name the Chinese company is said to be having lots of issues with people continuously phoning their offices in search for the... search mammoth. Although Beijing's Guge Science and Technology hasn't declared war to Google, company representatives have stated that they want Google to change their commercial name and that they will go to court if that would meet that goal.

May we recommend Google a name change to Gugal?
