With the price war in the desktop segment on hold, at least until the release of the Phenom line-up, Intel has now turn towards its mobile offer in order to do some price cuts.

Backed up by a few new CPU releases the price cut sees the T7700 go from $530 to $316 and the T7500 from $216 to $241 while the Celeron M 540 (1.86GHz) has went down from $134 to $107.

As for the new releases, the recently-unveiled, X7900 has finally received a price tag, $827 with the T7800 coming in to take the $530 zone. In addition, Intel has also released the T7250 (2GHz) that is set to cost $209 and two single-core Core 2 CPUs - the Core 2 Solo U2200 (1.2GHz) and U2100 (1.06GHz) costing $262 and $241 respectively.

To wrap things up, Intel has updated the Celoron M line-up too with the introduction of the 550, 530 and 523 (ULV) models that will cost $134, $86 and $161.
