While gearing up to produce and release its first 45nm processors, Intel will be releasing two more 65nm Conroe-based CPUs. Later this month, on October 21 Intel will introduce the dual-cored E4600 set to replace the E4500 at the $133 price point. The E4600 will be clocked at 2.4 GHz and have a 800 MHz FSB.

To end the year with a cheaper bang the Yorkfield builder will release on December 2nd the E2200. Clocked at 2.2 GHz the CPU is set to cost $74 and will push the E2160 down to $64. Q1 2008 will see the release of the dual-core E8000 and quad-core Q9000-series processors.
