
The Eaglelake family of chipsets is set to arrive next year, in Q2 and will bring with it updates to both the G35 and P35. The G45 will feature DirectX 10 integrate graphics, HDMI and DisplayPort, PCIe 2.0 and will support DDR2-800 and DDR3-1333 memory.
The P45 will feature the same memory support but it will also support Crossfire and it should bring official support for the 1600 MHz FSB along with introducing the ICH10 southbridge. Before these chipset arrive Intel will release another high-end chipset, the X48, in early 2008.
