The golden fleece of peripherals, Art Lebedev Studio's Optimus Maximus OLED keyboard has had its problems in the past (and present) but it is finally shaping up to be a great Valentine's Day gift (almost). The innocent public has finally been given a chance to look at a working prototype of the keyboard at the studio's store in Moscow which, not coincidentally, was officially opened just then.

Those attending the grand opening could press the buttons and not much else but still, they got pretty close to a product that costs $1564 and that will only be available in late December, an that's only for those who were first to pre-order it.

Still, it is a step forward and we can expect to see more of the Optimus Maximus later this year.
