The soon to be released Nvidia nForce 790i and Intel X48 chipsets will of course see the release of quite a few solutions based on them and Asus is company which will have a lot of motherboards equipped with them. In addition to the Republic of Gamers boards though Asus is preparing new workstation products that utilize the chips already mentioned. The P5N64 WS Pro and P5E64-WS Evolution, based on the nForce 790i and X48 respectively are the boards we're talking about and have them in pretty pictures just below.

The P5N64 WS Pro will be the green-themed motherboard that features 45nm support, four PCI-Express x16 slots (probably only two are 2.0), DDR3 memory slots, an intricate, all-copper cooling system, six SATA 3.0 Gbps ports, two SAS connectors and 7.1 channel audio.

In the case of the P5E64-WS Evolution we have similar components - 4 PCIe Xx16 slots (two are x4 electrical), eight SATA ports, DDR3 and HD audio. Both boards are expected to be released later this quarter.
