Rumored as being an inspiration for Apple's unlimited music bundle plans, Nokia's Comes with Music may soon be getting support and tracks from another major record label. When it was first announced in December, Comes with Music had only one label onboard and that was Universal but now EMI is negotiating with Nokia as it wants to provide its catalogue to the upcoming music service.
"We want to be part of it. I believe strongly that when it launches we will be there, with a full offering," said Wemppa Koivumaki, head of EMI Finland, speaking of Nokia's rather bold unlimited music download project. Comes with Music will be launched in the second half of this year and will see the Finnish company sell music phones at a premium price, these devices enabling the owner to download as many tracks as he/she wants for one year.
