After scaring unususpecting CeBIT visitors, Scythe's latest CPU cooler, called Orochi, can finally go global. Just announced, the Orochi is a super-sized CPU cooler that features an aluminum heatsink equipped with no less than 10 copper heatpipes. Although it can be used without any active cooling the Orochi comes bundled with a 140mm fan that works at 500 rpm, has a noise output of just 10.8 dBA.

Codenamed SCORC-1000, the Orochi is compatible with Intel's LGA775 and Socket 478 and AMD's Socket 754, 939, 940 and AM2.

Weighting in 1155 grams without the fan, the Orochi is set to hit the stores soon. No word on pricing unfortunately.
