Practically beating Asus to it, MSI has now started to get serious about its low-cost PC offer, but not by introducing the Wind notebook but by presenting the Titan 700 desktop. Measuring just 240 x 185 x 70mm, the Titan 700 uses an external PSU but it manages to relatively impress with the including of such things like a DVD writer and a 2.5-inch 250GB SATA hard drive.

The new PC is powered by a VIA platform with a 2GHz C7 CPU at its core and 1GB of DDR2 RAM and it offers one Gigabit Ethernet connector, both D-Sub and DVI connectors and integrated 5.1 audio. Loaded with a Linux OS, the Titan 700 will have a £235 price tag.
