Japan-based Green House has now unveiled its very own slid state drive offer which includes 2.5-inch models featuring either SLC or MLC NAND chips. The new drives weight around 80 grams, claim to have a MTBF (mean time before failure) or 1.3 million hours and a maximum power consumption of only 1.6W. The fun doesn't stop there as the three SLC (single-level cell) models, which come in 16, 32 and 64GB capacities offer read speeds that top 130 MB/s but stop at 67 MB/s when it comes to writing.

The MLC drives which go from 16 to 128 GB feature read and write speeds of 120 MB/s and only 20 MB/s repsectively. Green House's SSDs should start being delivered next month.
