Letter losing manufacturer Dell has added a new widescreen LCD to its offer, the UltraSharp 2709W. The fresh 27-inch display comes in an all-black casing, and features TrueColor technology for more life like images, a native resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels, a 6ms response time and a contrast ratio of 3000:1.

Also offering a brightness of 450 cd/m², the 2709W is equipped with a 9-in-2 card reader, four USB ports, plus HDMI, DVI-D and VGA connectivity. Dell's new UltraSharp can now be purchased for just about $1000 and is backed up by a 3-year warranty.
