South Korean conglomerate Samsung is planning to enter the netbook market too and to hype up this intention it has already showcased a prototype machine. Seen below, the shiny white Samsung netbook is Intel Atom-powered and will be available in both 8.9-inch and 10-inch LCD configurations. The hardware specs of the upcoming netbooks are unknown and the pictures aren't revealing anything special - three USB ports, Ethernet, a built-in camera, a VGA connector and a cute Power button on the side.

Samsung is readying its netbooks for an October launch so more info about them should come about in the next few weeks.
