Elitegroup Computer Systems or ECS for short has also released a list to show off which of its AM2(+) motherboards have what it takes to work with the upcoming AMD AM3 processors. Set to start arriving in Q1 (2009), the 45nm-built AM3 processors will feature memory controllers with support for both DDR2 and DDR3 memory and will generally be faster and cooler than the current Phenom CPUs.
As seen below, ECS has 12 motherboards willing to be paired up with AM3 parts, which is pretty good considering it doesn't have that big of a line-up of AM2/AM2+ boards to begin with.
