Trying to make its nettop line-up more attractive, Asus has now introduced two new Eee Box models that, unlike the first releases, feature a HDMI output. In addition to the extra connectivity option, the slim and sleek Eee Box B204 and B206 come pre-loaded with Eee Cinema, a media player providing quick and easy high definition video playback.
Both powered by Microsoft's Windows XP, the two nettops are equipped with an Atom 1.6 GHz CPU, a Radeon HD 3400 series graphics card, 1GB of RAM, a 160GB hard drive, plus Gigabit Ethernet and WiFi. To differentiate itself, the B204 also boasts Bluetooth connectivity and a built-in battery that acts as a UPS. The new Eee Box models have yet to be priced.
