Still all hyped up on bits and bytes, Buffalo has just announced a couple of new NAS (network attached storage) products which are part of the new LS-XHL family. Coming in a shiny and secsi black casing, the 500GB and 1TB drives measure 45 (W) x 175 (H) x 156 (D) mm, weight 1.1 kg and have both USB 2.0 and Gigabit LAN connectivity.

Said to offer transfer speeds of up to 66 MB/s, the LS-XHL drives are bundled with NAS Navigator 2, file sharing and backup software, and are expected to start selling around the end of this month. The 500GB and 1TB models have set to cost about $272.5 and $341.4 respectively.
