
Recently spotted on Lenovo's website, the ThinkPad W700ds portable workstation has been officially announced and set for a January debut. Featuring a primary 17-inch LCD screen, the W700ds also comes with a secondary display which can be extended to the laptop's right side and has a diagonal of 10.6 inches.
Targeting designers and developers, the ThinkPad W700ds is powered by an Intel QX9300 quad-core processor and can be equipped with up to 8GB of RAM, an NVidia Quadro card and up to 960GB of storage space either via hard drives or solid state drives.
Boasting both DVI and DisplayPort connectivity, Lenovo's W700ds has a starting price of $3,600.
