Lian Li is starting the year strong by releasing two new high-grade full tower chassis, the PC-B70 and PC-B71. Both measuring 220 (W) x 595 (H) x 590 (D) mm, the cases are made from aluminum sheet metal, are painted black and feature five 5.25-inch bays, HDD cages that can house up to seven 3.5-inch drives and side panels which are covered with sound insulation foam and anti-vibration rubber strips.
The cases also provide tool-less installation for optical drives and PCI cards, removable motherboard trays, holders for two power supplies (top and bottom), and three fans, one 120mm (1500 RPM) exhaust fan at the back and two blue LED-equipped 140mm (1200 RPM) fans in front. Also, both come with holes for the tubing of liquid cooling systems and a top-placed I/O panel which includes one FireWire, one eSATA, two audio and four USB 2.0 ports.
As for the difference between the PC-B70 and PC-B71, the latter has a hot swappable HDD cage with a lockable front door, while the former has a plain ol' cage. Now up for orders, the Lian Li PC-B70 and PC-B71 have price tags of $300 and $350 respectively (without VAT).
