After delivering a few betas, eBay-owned Skype Limited has released the final version of Skype 4.0. Still offering the well-known features known from previous versions, Skype 4.0.0.206 for Windows also includes:

- New style when copying and pasting text in an instant message (text quoting)
- Video Call in separate window
- All language localizations updated
