Asus already has a very nice motherboard line geared towards gamers, their Republic of Gamers family. Well they've announced plans to include another addition to this line, the Republic of Gamers Gene series which includes MicroATX motherboards.

Asus has pointed out that the Gene series is geared towards those who LAN often and overclockers.

Here is a picture of the Rampage II Gene, a board which features Core i7 support and comes with six DDR3 memory slots and two PCI-Express x16 slots. Retail price planned in the US is probably going to be over $200.
