
Since Acer broke the ice with its
AspireRevo, other manufacturers are starting to show more interest in Nvidia's ION platform. ASRock for example quickly pulled a green rabbit out of the hat and showcased the little shiny black thing pictured below, a ION-based nettop.
Built upon the all-Intel NetTop S330, the ION 330 is equipped with a dual-core 1.6 GHz Atom 330 CPU, an GeForce 9400-powered motherboard boasting DirectX 10-ready integrated graphics, and a DVD writer. It's yet unknown how long ASRock will wait until bringing its first ION products to market. Hopefully it will be sooner rather than later.
