After getting a taste of Intel's CULV (consumer ultra-low voltage) offer with the X-Slim
X340, MSI is gearing up to introduce a Wind-branded machine powered not by an Atom but by a CULV processor. Said to be announced tomorrow, the Wind U200 features a 12-inch (1366x768) LED backlit LCD screen, a 1.2GHz Celeron M ULV 723 CPU, 2GB of RAM, GMA 4500M integrated graphics and a 250GB hard drive.
The 1.4kg U200 also boasts WiFi and Bluetooth 2.0, a 3-cell battery and comes loaded with Windows Vista Home Premium. No word on pricing but it should hover around the $699 mark.
