Back in March at CeBIT, Asus showcased a couple of P55 motherboards that weren't really 'hardcore' but now we can feast our eyes on something that kinda reminds us that the Taiwanese company also makes the Republic of Gamers line-up. Named P7P55 PRO, the cute black and blue thang below comes with support for Intel upcoming LGA 1156 processors (codename Lynnfield, Clarkdale), four dual channel DDR3 memory slots, and two PCI-Express x16 slots ready for CrossFireX setups (SLI support is still unconfirmed for the P55 chipset).

The P55-equipped motherboard also has one eSATA and seven SATA 3.0 Gbps ports, 7.1 channel audio and Gigabit Ethernet. The P7P55 PRO's design is not final so it may get a few tweaks here and there before it is out, likely in the second part of Q3. Expect to see this motherboard at Computex next month together with more P55 products at Asus' booth.
