Eye-Fi has now updates its offer with a new WiFi-enabled SecureDigital memory card, the Eye-Fi Pro. Seen below, the card has 4GB worth of storage space and includes support for RAW, JPEG file uploads, automatic geotagging to mark the pictures and videos you've taken with location information, a selective transfer option, an ad hoc connection function to transfer files without the need of a wireless router, and streamlined photo sharing to quickly upload pictures to sites like Flickr, Facebook, Picasa, SmugMug, Kodak Gallery, and Evernote.
"People are engaged in photography at a deeper level than ever before. They have moved from being casual photographers to passionate enthusiasts, shooting in RAW for more extensive editing, adding geotags for a richer experience or using an online gallery to share their work," said Jef Holove, CEO of Eye-Fi. "These people are looking for tools that advance the art of photography and make it more efficient - and the Eye-Fi Pro does both."
The 4GB Eye-Fi Pro is now available in the US, Canada at about $149.
