iiyama has just revealed the addition of a new ProLite monitor - the 19-inch widescreen E1908WS-B, to its product offer. According to its maker, the LCD features a native resolution of 1650 x 1080 pixels, a 5ms response time, 300 cd/m2 brightness and a contrast ratio of 1000:1 (20000:1 ACR).

The E1908WS-B also comes with a trio of 'eco' modes which enable it to cut power consumption by up to 37.6%, two 1W speakers, D-Sub and DVI connectors, plus a 3.5mm audio jack. The new monitor has a recommended price tag of just over $200.
