Through a rather stealthy move Acer has let loose the Veriton N260G, a nettop that strongly resembles the AspireRevo but is not based on the ION platform. Seen below, the new machine packs a motherboard with the GN40 chipset which features GMA X4500 integrated graphics, a 1.66 GHz Atom N280 CPU, 1 or 2GB of RAM, and a 160GB hard drive.
The Veriton N260G comes with Windows XP or Vista Home Basic, has D-Sub and HDMI outputs and is available in several configurations at prices going from about
210 Euro to
326 Euro.
