
Taiwanese manufacturer MSI has now provided more info on the Cyclone family Radeon HD 4890s which it initially previewed at
Computex. Basically, the company is preparing to release three RV790-powered Cyclone cards, all of which feature 800 Stream Processors, 1GB of GDDR5 memory, a 256-bit memory interface, a dual-slot cooling system equipped with a 100mm fan and four heatpipes (two being 8mm SuperPipes), and military class components like the Hi-c CAP, SSC (Solid State Chock), and long-life solid capacitors.
The R4890 Cyclone, R4890 Cyclone OC, and R4890 Cyclone SOC models have GPU/memory clocks of 850/3900 MHz, 880/3900 MHz, and 1GHz/4000 MHz, respectively and should become available in the next few weeks.
