LG has just announced a trio of Blu-Ray drives which it aims to let loose upon the Old Continent (Europe) - the CH08LS internal combo drive, the BH08LS internal BD writer, and its external versions, the BE08LU. Already listed, the BH08LS and CH08LS have a SATA interface, 4MB of buffer memory, LightScribe support, and offer writing speeds of 16x for DVD-R/+R, 8x for DVD+RW, 6x for DVD-RW, 5x for DVD-RAM, 4x for DVD-R/+R DL, 40x for CD-R, 24x for CD-RW, with the former model being able to burn BD-R SL at 8x and BD-R DL, BD-RE at 2x.

The BH08LS and CH08LS can be found in EU stores at prices as low as 186 Euro and 116 Euro. The BE08LU is expected to cost a bit more than the BH08LS when it debuts next month.
