Old timer Verbatim has now updated its storage offer with the SureFire family of 'palm-sized' portable hard drives. The new drives measure 81 x 128 x 15 mm, weight 186 grams, feature a black aluminum-extruded case with a fingerprint-resistant matte finish, provide both USB 2.0 and FireWire 800 connectivity and make use of a 2.5-inch HDD working at 5400 RPM and boasting 8MB of buffer memory.

Coming in 250, 320, and 500GB capacities, the SureFire drives are bundled with a carrying case, are backed by a three-year warranty and have recommended price tags of $109.99, $139.99, and $179.99, respectively.
