Lian Li is keeping its PC chassis line-up fresh with a new imposing model, the TYR PC-X1000 full tower. The aluminum-built PC-X1000 measures 230 (W) x 680 (H) x 430 (D) mm, weights just under 10 kg and has three exposed 5.25-inch bays, a removable motherboard tray, a three heatzone design (highlighted below), two HDD cages (plus two 2.5-inch HDD/SSD holders), and provides tool-less installation for all drives and PCI cards.

The chassis has two holes drilled at the rear for the tubing of watercooling systems, and also includes five 140mm fans working at 1200 RPM - three in front, two in the back.

Lian Li is planning to start shipping the TYR PC-X1000 at the end of this month, with the price of the case expected to be of about $420 (without VAT).
