Apparently taking a jab at Asus' G1S, MSI has introduced a new G series laptop, the 15.4-inch GT628. Seen below with its quite nice powder-coated black aluminum casing, the portable machine measures 358 x 260 x 27-31mm and features a 15.4-inch (1680 x 1050) LCD screen, Turbo Drive Engine technology for one-button CPU overclocking, and an ECO mode for extended battery like.
The gaming laptop is available with a Core 2 Duo processor, 4GB of RAM, a 320 or 500GB hard drive, a Geforce GTS 160M graphics card with 1GB of dedicated memory, a DVD writer or Blu-Ray drive, and also boasts Gigabit Ethernet, WiFi (Bluetooth is optional), a 2 megapixel camera, a 4-in-1 card reader, eSATA and HDMI connectors, and a 6- or 9-cell battery. Moreover, it comes bundled with a gaming bag and a laser mouse (complete with weight adjustment trickery).
The current store listings put on the GT628 a price tag of at least 1130 Euro.
