At a press event in Japan BenQ unveiled some more or less new projectors and LCD monitors, with the latter category including the 27-inch big boy seen below. Named M2700HDS, the upcoming LCD has a top resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, a 5ms response time, a 1000:1 contrast ratio, a brightness of 300 cd/m2 and four 2.5W built-in speakers.
The 27-inch widescreen LCD also boasts with USB ports, one D-Sub, one DVI and two HDMI connectors and is expected to become available later this year.
