More flashy fun is coming our way from Elecom as the company is set to introduce a couple of nanoSSDs, which are basically tiny - 6.5 (W) x 25 (H) x 39 (D) mm, solid state drives with a SATA 3.0 Gbps interface.

Coming in 8 and 16GB capacities, the nanoSSD weights just 8 grams, features MLC (multi-level cell) NAND memory chips and read/write speeds of 70/35 MB/s, and by the looks of it, it will make at least one SATA connector beside the one it is plugged into unusable.

No word on pricing or release date, but Elecom did mention the nanoSSD will be backed by a one-year warranty.
