Together with the ATI Stream SDK 2.0 beta 4, AMD has released a bunch of beta OpenCL graphics drivers for Windows and Linux. These may not look like much if you're not a developer looking into ATI Stream and OpenCL but in fact they are quite interesting as they mention some upcoming AMD cards.

As seen below, the list of cards supported by the drivers includes the new Radeon HD 5800 and HD 5700 series, but also the yet unannounced Radeon HD 5900. The higher-end, likely Cypress-based, HD 5900s, which would take on Nvidia's single-GPU Fermi cards are followed by Cedar and Redwood models, these being lower-end DirectX 11 cards which AMD plans to release in Q1. It seems AMD is quite prepared to take on Nvidia on the DX11 front, too bad the latter isn't showing up for the fight. Not yet at least.
