Almost one week after giving its OK for reviews and announcements of Juniper-based cards, AMD has today announced the Radeon HD 5750 and HD 5770. The two mid-range cards have DirectX 11 support, a 128-bit memory interface, CrossFireX readiness, ATI Eyefinity technology, and dual DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort outputs.
"The ATI Radeon HD 5800 series reaffirmed AMD as the undisputed leader in visual computing technology," said Rick Bergman, senior vice president and general manager, AMD Products Group. "Now, the ATI Radeon HD 5700 series takes the same great features like ATI Eyefinity and ATI Stream technology as well as full hardware support for all DirectX 11 features, and bundles them into products priced well below $200."
The Radeon HD 5750 boasts 720 Stream Processors and GPU/memory clocks of 700/4600 MHz, while the HD 5770 packs 800 SPs and core/memory frequencies of 850/4800 MHz. Both cards have 1GB of GDDR5 memory.
The 512MB and 1GB Radeon HD 5750 have recommended price tags of $109 and $129, respectively. As for the 1GB Radeon HD 5770, it goes for $159.
