
As confirmed by its website, in addition to the
Timeline 1820P, Acer is preparing to release another Windows 7-loaded multi-touch convertible tablet, namely the Aspire 1420P. The upcoming portable PC has a 11.6-inch touchscreen with a native resolution of 1366x768 or 1024x600 pixels, and boasts an Intel Celeron or Core 2 Duo ULV (ultra-low voltage) processor, up to 8GB of RAM, a 250/320GB hard drive and GMA 4500MHD integrated graphics.
The Aspire tablet also includes a multi card reader, Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11b/g/Draft-N WiFi, optional Bluetooth and 3G, a multi-gesture touchpad, a Crystal Eye webcam, a HDMI output, a 6-cell battery enabling up to 8 hours of 'life', and packs Microsoft's Windows 7 Home Premium.
The Aspire 1420P will be available, probably next month, in three colors - Diamond black, Sapphire blue and Ruby red.
