QNAP Systems has started this week with a new product announcement, that of the TS-410U rack-mounted NAS server aimed at the SMB and workgroup market segments. Seen below, the new storage solution comes in a 1U chassis, supports up to four 2.5-inch or 3.5-inch hard drives summing up to 8TB of space, and features a 800 MHz Marvell 6281 processor, 512MB of RAM, 16MB of flash memory, support for RAID 0/1/5/6/5+ configurations, and an 'Auto-copy' function that will copy the contents of a USB device to the NAS. In terms of connectivity, the TS-410U offers dual Gigabit Ethernet, two eSATA ports and four USB 2.0 connectors.

"Most business users desire a network attached server of high stability, flexible storage expansion, and low maintenance cost. QNAP TS-410U packed with abundant server features is the ideal solution for them," said Laurent Cheng, Product Manager from QNAP Systems. "The TS-410U is the valued-added server that business users cannot miss!"

According to its maker, the TS-410U starts being delivered this month. For more info about this new NAS server see QNAP's website.
