EIZO has just introduced in Europe the FlexScan EV2313W 23-inch energy-efficient widescreen monitor. This new display has a TN LCD panel and consumes just 16W during normal operation but will go down to less than 0.9W under power save mode. Moreover, you have the EcoView Sense feature which will automatically switch the LCD to power save mode when it does not detect your presence for 40 seconds, and return it to a fully functional state when you return.

The fresh FlexScan has a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, a 4ms GTG response time, a 1000:1 contrast ratio, a maximum brightness of 250 cd/m2, a 0.35W speaker, D-Sub, DVI, plus DisplayPower connectivity, and is backed by a five-year warranty.

The FlexScan EV2313W is now shipping in Europe in a box made out of 100% recycled material, and has a recommended price tag of 450 Euro.
