Not wanting to let rival Asus gain too much hype with its still unrevealed, Eee ebook reader, MSI has confessed to building its own reader.

Unfortunately, the Taiwanese manufacturer won't be ready to truly announce the ebook reader until the first half of 2010, but it did mention that the device will be powered by Nvidia's Tegra SoC (system-on-a-chip). The highly integrated Tegra should enable the reader to offer a lot of functionality while keeping power requirements low but overall it's up to MSI to choose what the device will and will not be able to do. See you in 2010 MSI e-reader.
