Keeping up with the times, HighPoint has announced a duo of SATA 6.0 Gb/s host adapters based on PCI-Express 2.0. The Rocket 600 expansion cards have a PCIe x1 interface, feature a Marvell controller, and serve up two SATA (Rocket 620) or two eSATA (Rocket 622) compatible with SATA 6.0/3.0/1.5 Gbps drives with a capacity of up to 2TB.

The Rocket 620 and Rocket 622 also boast NCQ (Native Command Queuing) support and are set to become available within a week or so priced at $70 and $80, respectively.
