Getting some hype going, MSI has provided more info about the CR610, its first laptop based on AMD's new mobile platform (named Tigris) The fresh Classic series machine measures 374x 247 x 30 mm and weights as low as 2.48kg, has a 16-inch LED-backlit (1366x768) display, and will be equipped with an Athlon II (or Turion II Ultra) dual-core processor, up to 4GB of RAM, Radeon HD 4200 integrated graphics, a 250/320/500GB SATA hard drive and either a DVD or Blu-Ray drive.

MSI's laptop will be loaded with Windows 7 and also pack a 4-in-1 card reader, a 1.3 megapixel webcam, Gigabit Ethernet, WiFi (Bluetooth is optional), a HDMI output, and a 6-cell battery. The CR610's release data has yet to be announced.
