Postponing our embrace of the weekend, Akasa has just sent out word that its newest PC chassis, dubbed Freedom Xone, is shipping and is ready for purchase. Seen below, the all-black steel case measures 445 (H) x 200 (W) x 482 (D) mm, has a mesh front panel, four exposed 5.25-inch bays, a top-placed I/O panel with audio, eSATA and USB ports, and provides tool free installation and easy access to components.

Freedom Xone includes two pre-drilled holes for the tubing of liquid cooling systems, boasts ventilated side panels and comes with two fans - a white LED-equipped 120mm fan (1200 RPM) in front and a 140mm fan (1000 RPM) at the top.

Those interested can get Akasa's case for £50.
