EKL has announced that a 'B' revision of the Alpenföhn Nordwand CPU cooler is in the works and will be released in the not so distant future. The updated cooler is almost the same as the first version, except that the large aluminum heatsink has been polished to have a mirror finish.

The Alpenföhn Nordwand measures 131 x 71 x 155 mm and weights 860 grams, has five copper heatpipes (with direct heatpipe touch technology), and a 120mm hydro bearing fan equipped with four blue LEDs that works between 850 and 1500 RPM and has a maximum sound output of 21 dB(A).

Alpenföhn Nordwand Rev. B is compatible with Intel LGA 775, 1156, 1366 and AMD AM2(+), AM3 processors, and is scheduled to debut by the end of this year.
