Google released a fresh update its Picasa free photo editing software thus bringing it to version 3.5 build 79.81. The update comes with:

- Improved stability during import.
- Fixed a crash related to Quicktime.
- Improved the migration process for users upgrading from XP to Windows 7.
- Added RAW support for the following cameras: Canon EOS 7D, EOS 500D, PowerShot A530, PowerShot G11, PowerShot A470, Kodak EasyShare Z980, EasyShare Z1015, Nikon D3000, D5000, Olympus E-620, E-P1, Pentax K-7, Panasonic DMC-FZ35, Sony DSLR-A230, DSLR-A330, DSLR-A380 and DSLR-A8.
