Romanian GPS navigation supplier Evolio is trying to spread its wings while there's still time and has thus releases its first netbook, the SmartPad S21. Coming in two color options Red Spice and Blue Wave, the low-cost machine weights 1.1kg, has a thickness of 27mm and features 'the usual' - a 10.1-inch (1024x600) screen, a 1.6 GHz Atom CPU, 1GB of RAM, GMA 950 integrated graphics, and a 160GB hard drive.

SmartPad S21 includes a 1.3 megapixel webcam, an SD/MMC card reader, WiFi, 10/100 Mbps LAN, a 3400 MAh battery and is loaded with Microsoft's Windows XP. The netbook costs 1390 RON or about $478.
