According to a listing on its Softpaq support pages, HP is planning on introducing an Envy 14 laptop model in the more or less near future. The 14-inch portable machine would enrich the Envy line which includes the October-released
Envy 13 and 15.
Since the 13-inch and 15-inch models are based on Intel platforms - the former being powered by Core 2 Duo CPUs, while the latter makes us of Core i7 chips, it would be a safe bet to assume that the Envy 14 would also be Intel 'enhanced' but note that nothing has been confirmed. If and when it comes out, the Envy 14 should have the same slender aluminum/magnesium (or just magnesium) casing as its older brothers and come pre-loaded with Microsoft's Windows 7. Now we just have to wait on HP to make an announcement, or deny the rumor.
