Still feeling the need for speed but also simplicity, Google has kicked off a project for a new, open source programming language that's claimed to be fun, fast, safe, concurrent, delivering fast compilation. Dubbed 'Go', the language makes use of a type system with no hierarchy and is said to be 'great' for multi-processing programming.
