The second coming of Siberia is upon us as SteelSeries has let loose the new iteration of its popular gamer-oriented headphones. Seen below in glossy black and white the Siberia v2 features thicker leather ear-cups for better sound isolation, a uni-directional microphone that can be retracted from the left ear cup, 50mm speakers with a frequency response of 10-28,000 Hz, and a one meter cord that can be expanded by another two meters via an extension cable.
"We're introducing the new headphone right before the holidays with the notion that high-quality, professional gaming gear can be offered at an affordable price for both novice gamers and pro-players," said Bruce Hawver, CEO of SteelSeries. "The Siberia Headphone rounds out our audio line-up as the opening level SteelSeries audio option for gamers who are looking to experience professional quality headphone technology."
The SteelSeries Siberia v2 headset is
available with and without a USB soundcard priced at $109.99 and $89.99, respectively.
