
It's not the first ThinkPad netbook but it might still interest you - Lenovo's X100e is in the works and it's an ultra-portable based on an AMD platform. To be more specific, new ThinkPad model features a 11.6-inch (1366x768) LCD screen, a 1.6 GHz Athlon Neo processor, 4GB of RAM, and a 160, 250 or 320GB hard drive.
Lenovo's machine also packs a multi-card reader, a 0.3 megapixel webcam, Gigabit Ethernet, WiFi, Bluetooth, a multi-gesture trackpad, optional GPS, and a 3- or 6-cell batter, the latter enabling up to 5.1 hours of operation.
Set to be available with Windows XP or Windows 7, the ThinkPad X100e has a starting price tag of $449.
